During a consultation, we can chat on the phone for 15 minutes about what is bringing you in for therapy and how I can support you as a therapist. Consultations are free of charge.

During our first appointment together, we will discuss more in depth about what is bringing you in as well as gathering a general history about your life. From here, I will develop a treatment plan that you consent to that will guide our sessions moving forward.

Therapy sessions are 55 minutes and typically scheduled on a weekly or biweekly basis starting out. Here, we will explore what has been on your mind and what you are wanting to work on. Some sessions may be emotional processing, others may involve more learning- and a lot both.

I-CBT stands for Inference-Based Cogntive Behavioral Therapy. I-CBT is a structured, 12-module therapy where you learn how your obsessions develop, the fear about yourself driving them, and skills to shift attention to what is true instead of what could be true. It is an evidence-based treatment for OCD.
In addition to I-CBT, we may explore exposure strategies, the importance of values, and how we think about our thoughts as supplemental in OCD treatment.

I am an out-of-network provider, meaning I do not directly bill insurance companies for services. I utilize Thrizer, a platform that helps clients get out-of-network insurance reimbursement back for sessions. If you reach out, I can check your out-of-networks benefits estimate!
